When you think of one of the main arteries of Long Beach it is hard not to think of the Traffic Circle. Access to the Traffic circle from the freeway is via Lakewood Blvd and when you head south on Lakewood Blvd you will be taken to the ever popular location that provides you access to Pacific Coast Highway which can take you quickly to CSULB or with a bit more driving the other direction to Downtown Long Beach.
The Traffic Circle area is certainly known for being home to an array of businesses, restaurants (from In-N-Out to Pancho’s Mexican food and many more), a nice car wash, to even car dealerships (hard to miss Circle Porsche) and more. This location provides nearly 1 stop shopping for all of your needs making it a popular place for locals and visitors alike. The variety of businesses and dining is complemented by the condo opportunities in this neighborhood. One such great opportunity is the Coast Plaza condo complex.
The Coast Plaza condo development commands a prime corner location on Ximeno and Atherton. One feature that is immediately noticeable as you approach the building is that you will have the opportunity to enjoy a balcony. Seeing as there are palm trees along the street and the nearly year round great weather it is nice to know that you can enjoy a touch of the outdoors from your Long Beach condo. One of the other nice features you will notice before you even the building is that there is secured parking. While the Eastside doesn’t necessarily have the same parking challenges of the neighborhoods closer to the ocean it is a big benefit to know that you can park in a secured parking spot at the end of your day.
One of the challenging aspects of searching for condos when you only look at what becomes available is that you aren’t quite sure what is possible. To help you decide if the Coast Plaza is the right condo development for your goals consider the following floor plans that are available:
- 1 bedroom/1 bathroom: 700 sq ft+
- 2 bedroom/2 bathroom: 1,000 sqft+
- 3 bedroom/2 bathroom: 1,270 sq ft
Explore Eastside Long Beach Condos like the Coast Plaza
The largest unit that we have seen at the Coast Plaza is the 3 bedroom/2 bathroom unit that happened to be a top floor unit (designed by units in the #300 range) and it was 1,270 sq ft. As you look for condo options throughout Long Beach you will find that 3 bedroom condos are the rarity which means if that is a “must have” for you then keep this condo high on your watch list. Regardless of the floor plan that you decide on we have found them to be well portioned. Kitchens are galley style and still open up to a dining room area that flows into the living room providing a nearly open concept that is ever popular today. Some of the units have underwent extensive upgrades giving you the opportunity to enjoy all new kitchens and bathrooms. Consider a few other aspects of the Coast Plaza to evaluate as follows:
- Amenities – In the 1960’s you didn’t necessarily find that developers were building condos with amenities in mind but this building is a bit different. Here you will find that you can enjoy a recreation room as well as a pool.
- Laundry – Most of the time when you see community laundry you don’t find that condos have inside laundry. In the case of condos at the Coast Plaza you will find that there is community laundry on site and keep a watch out for specific units as we have seen inside laundry available as well!
- Heating and Cooling – Air conditioning is done via a wall unit, but with large sliding glass doors you can certainly invite in the cooling breeze as well. For heating you will find this building utilizes radiant heat which is heating coils in the ceiling that was popular in the 1960’s.
It is most common that the 1 bedroom units have 1 parking space and the 2 bedroom and large units have 2 parking spaces (always check your HOA documentation and title report to validate your parking).
Condos at the Coast Plaza don’t come up for sale too often which means if you want to live here we encourage you to keep a careful watch…and we can even help with that. While the variety of real estate mobile apps are great to keep track of the new listings on the market let us lend a helping hand as we can even give you more advanced notice than the latest apps.
Simply request our Hot List of properties or call us today at 562-989-7111 and we can add you to our database to receive the latest condos in the Eastside neighborhood and more.
