As you are starting to explore Belmont Heights it is likely you traveled down Redondo Ave from PCH to see what is possible. If you travel just a few streets East of Redondo Ave on 4th St you will find the condo development of Loma Linda. This lovely building, composed of 20 condos, stands out on 4th St with it’s large balconies that you are certain the residents can enjoy nearly year round.
With a location on 4th St, you might wonder what it is like to live here. In Belmont Heights the numbered streets (i.e. 3rd, 4th, 5th, etc.) are East/West running streets and are used by many to navigate throughout Long Beach. 7th St is perhaps the most popular of the numbered streets as it allows an easy method from traveling from nearly Seal Beach to Downtown Long Beach. As Loma Linda is located on 4th St you will still notice a decent volume of cars (also typical of the being this close to the Beach) but the bright point is your secured garage access is available via Loma Ave which is much less traveled.
As is the case with many of the great condos in Belmont Heights you won’t find yourself too far from wonderful options to enjoy. If you feel like a stroll, you are only minutes away from the Colorado Lagoon or grab your golf clubs and you can swing your sticks at nearby Big Rec (18 holes) or Little Rec (9 holes). Even if you don’t feel like enjoying the outdoors you might stop for breakfast at the ever popular breakfast spot of Egg Heaven Cafe (4th and Ximeno). No matter what you enjoy, when you call Loma Linda Condos home the tough part is deciding what to do first.

To help you decide if this is the right right condo for you to call home we invite you to find out more about the key features and floorplans:
- Heating – Development of condo buildings certainly advanced in the 1980’s. Radiant heat was no longer common and this building is evidence of that as it provides for Central Heating.
- Laundry – The larger floor plans here (nearly 1,200 sq ft and larger) are well designed and accommodate side by side laundry.
- Unexpected Feature – One item that is certainly unexpected these days is that of a fireplace. In the living room you can find a fireplace near your sliding glass doors to the balcony.
- Pets – When you have furry friends condo shopping can prove to be a challenge, but not here. The HOA does allow for having 2 pets.
- Amenities – The building maximizes the .42 acres in which it is situated and yet there was still room to accomodate a spa.
- Secured Parking – There is secured parking here and the condos we have seen sold have come with 2 parking spots. The parking is assigned, subterranean parking. Always check your HOA and Title documents to ensure that your specific unit does have parking spaces assigned.
- Balcony – While some buildings only have balconies facing certain directions at Loma Linda you will find balconies available in every direction (North, South, East and West) which is a great treat. The balconies are larger and can allow plenty of room for you to enjoy. Depending on the floor plan you could even have the added benefit of 2 balconies!
The entrance of the building is on Loma Ave, vs the street address of 4th St. The entrance is simple but does have a unique “L L” over the door, and while one might think this is an homage an LL Cool J song, it is in reference to the HOA name of Loma Linda. One unexpected aspect of this building appears as you approach this entrance. The landscaping, while seemingly simple provides a few benefits. On the west side of the building there are larger trees, including Eucalyptus trees which provide a wonderful smell and a bit of protection from the sun. Landscaping isn’t always on the list of items when one is evaluating a condo, but in this scenario we thought it a good idea to raise.
While there are a variety of sizes of floor plans in this building one pleasant surprise you will encounter is that each of the condos are 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The only drawback to only having 2 bedroom/2 bathroom condos available is it can make it a bit of a stretch for the first time buyer, especially within the location of this great Belmont Heights neighborhood.
We have seen condos here range in size from 1,187 sq ft to 1,300 sq ft. As you evaluate the different condos that become available take note of units that are on the top floor (designated with units in the “#300’s”. Condos on the 3rd floor can have vaulted ceilings with additional windows allowing even more light into the already well portioned room sizes.
Condos at the Loma Linda don’t come up for sale too often which means if you want to live here we encourage you to keep a careful watch…and we can even help with that. While the variety of real estate mobile apps are great to keep track of the new listings on the market let us lend a helping hand as we can even give you more advanced notice than the latest apps.
